Top 10 must watch hollywood movies of 2017
Everyone watches movies and every once a while it feels good to talk to our readers about all the awesome movies that came out this year.For this post we will strictly stick to hollywood flicks.Ok,so before I start with the countdown let's get one thing clear.
I am not a professional movie critique and this countdown is solely based on the movies I enjoyed through and through,and trust me I have watched a lot of movies this year which gives me the authority to list it out for you to binge watch them this holiday season.
10. War for the planet of apes
Plot: After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind.
Thoughts: A perfect third installment to an awesome franchise is what I would describe it as.It is a roller coaster ride from start to the end.
9. Gifted
Plot: Frank, a single man raising his child prodigy niece Mary, is drawn into a custody battle with his mother.
Thoughts : If you are weak hearted make sure you grab a box of tissue because Cap(chris evans) and the little girl are surely going to make you weep.
8. Split
Plot: Three girls are kidnapped by a man with a diagnosed 23 distinct personalities. They must try to escape before the apparent emergence of a frightful new 24th.
Thoughts : This being the first movie i watched this year,It sure as hell did not disappoint. It will keep you on the edge of your seats and I promise you will google the lead actor's name after this movie because he is so damn good in this.
7.Wind River
Plot: A veteran tracker with the Fish and Wildlife Service helps to investigate the murder of a young Native American woman, and uses the case as a means of seeking redemption for an earlier act of irresponsibility which ended in tragedy.
Thoughts: This thriller has arguably the best overall performance by each and every person from the starcast.It will hit you where most movies don't dare to go and will leave you with the most satisfied climax of all time.
6. Thor Ragnarok
Plot: Imprisoned, the almighty Thor finds himself in a lethal gladiatorial contest against the Hulk, his former ally. Thor must fight for survival and race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home and the Asgardian civilization.
Thoughts: This movie did everything for Thor franchise what Captain America The Winter Soldier did for Captain America. This movie is a blast from start to the end and is arguably the most funniest Superhero movie till date.Every once a while you will witness a stereotype being broken.
5. Baby Driver
Plot : After being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.
Thoughts: Edgar White simply never disappoints.This movie is so stylish and edgy that you can maybe manage to just watch the movie only with the video (A bit exaggerated). Watch out for a chase sequence at the beginning of the movie,It will surely make your jaws drop.
4 . Logan
Plot : In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X, somewhere on the Mexican border. However, Logan's attempts to hide from the world, and his legacy, are upended when a young mutant arrives, pursued by dark forces.
Thoughts : ‘Logan’ is a brutal, merciless, emotional and honest film that does justice to both the character and Hugh Jackman by stepping away from the superhero norm and offering a personal and emotionally fueled outing that certainly brings the violence and delivers one of the best comic-book films I've seen.
3. Get Out
Plot : It's time for a young African American to meet with his white girlfriend's parents for a weekend in their secluded estate in the woods, but before long, the friendly and polite ambience will give way to a nightmare.
Thoughts : ‘Get Out’ is an extremely influential, disturbing horror film with some great dosage of humor. Jordan peele has proved that the horror genre is nota dying genre and so much innovation in story telling can still be done within horror.

Plot : A group of bullied kids band together when a shapeshifting monster, taking the appearance of a clown, begins hunting children.
Thoughts: If you haven't seen this movie or heard about it,I suspect that you have been living under a rock?.This movie was a massive commercial as well as critically acclaimed movie.Overall 'It' is a well-crafted and a well-acted adaption of a story that beautifully blends humor and horror.
1. Dunkirk
Plot : Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire and France are surrounded by the German Army, and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.
Thoughts: Dunkirk' is yet another visual masterpiece from mastermind Christopher Nolan who stuns again with his remarkable cinematography and earnest writing. A must watch in IMAX!
