Hike acquires Creo A bengaluru based startup to provide better features and attract more users.

One of the most famous Instant Messaging(IM) platform in India Hike has recently acquired a bengaluru based startup Creo.The amount the hike paid for this deal of acquisition is yet to be disclosed.

The cero team constitutes over 50 members and was created in 2013 by Sai Srinivas Kiran G & Shubham.Creo team worked in providing Hardware products like streaming dongles and mobile phones.

 The main reason for this deal was to create a developer's platform for Hike for third party to develop and add functionalities. According to a spokesperson at hike "The Creo team will begin work on a developer platform to enable third party developers to build services on the Hike platform,"

In August 2016,Hike raised its fourth round of funding by 165 million USD which was led by Tencent and Foxconn.Currently there are 5 investors that are funding Hike they are Tencent,Foxconn,Softbank,Bharti & Tiger Global.

Hike is currently evaluated at 1.4 Billion USD and have reached this milestone in just 3.7 years.

Hike's primary users are Indians and the best thing about the company is they know how important the Indian audience are for the apps.Thus you will see a lot of quality updates and features for indian audience.
