WhatsApp has been one of the most actively updated and worked upon apps for mobile devices.We have seen great deal of development in WhatsApp in the past years and here we have another update coming from whatsapp.
As per @wabetainfo ( A twitter account which keeps a track on all the developments related to whatsapp) , WhatsApp is testing a new feature on Android which will allow the user to switch instantly between voice calls and video calls. Many users faced this issue since the video cal update was dropped in by whatsapp as the users had to disconnect the call inorder to switch between voice and video calls.
The current feature may will resolve this issue of users having to disconnect the call in order to switch between audio and video calls. According to the report a pop up notification will be prompted to the user to accept the change in the call from audio to video and vice versa. For the caller the video call button will be placed on the bottom of the screen during call thus with just one tap the camera will be started and the user will be ready for a video call.
Along with this @wabetainfo reports that WhatsApp is also working on a new app for small and medium businesses . This app will be available across Android IOS and Windows 10 mobile devices. The aim of this app is to open communication between small businesses and the customers.
In this app whatsapp will identify the companies which will have a unique and permanent user name and a profile picture. The companies will have their own PSA accounts where both companies and customers will be informed about changes in the app.
