Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is silently working on a new Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone -- under the company's Lyf sub-brand -- with its ticket to fame being its ultra-affordable price tag.But our covet agents have succeeded in getting the images and specs.So peeps let's begin

Specifications:

1.Processor: Jio's Lyf Rs 500 4G VoLTE feature phone may be powered by a Snapdragon 205 SoC, a processor Qualcomm has made specifically for ultra-affordable 4G VoLTE phones. Alternatively, the feature phone may also be powered by a Spreadtrum-based SoC, something that is quite common in entry-level smartphones.

2.RAM: 512MB

3.Internal storage: 4GB internal storage which will be expandable by up to 128GB via a micro-SD card slot.

Reliance Jio will most likely launch its long-rumoured Rs 500 feature phone at its annual general meeting (AGM) on July 21.


Reliance is said to have placed an order of 18-20 million units for the handsets with Chinese vendors such as Zhejiang Techain Electronics Technology Co., Shenzhen CHINO-E Communication Co, Crave and Megaphone. The  Lyf/ Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone is expected to be unveiled on July 21 at parent company Reliance's AGM, but hit the market in August.
