Jio phone specifications are here.

Here are 5 interesting facts about the Jio phone you must know before you buy the phone

5. Dual sim support ??

This is a very interesting aspect for this phone on whether the Jio team will make this phone a dual sim thus giving its users to use other sims but the phone does not come with a dual sim support and will only work with Jio sim and other 4G enabled sim cards. The idea behind this seems to be very clear to increase its overall enormous customer base .

4. The processor

Being a feature phone it should not be expected to be a big player when it comes to processing. Also the apps or the tasks that the phone will be able to perform will also be less heavy on the processor and will be low cycled tasks. It comes with a Spreadtrum processor for smooth functioning of the device along with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB using external SD card.

3. Hotspot confusion !!!

As of now this feature is a bit vague because of no official device reviews yet been done. But some sites have claimed that the device will have WiFi as well as hotspot support as seen in this leaked image.

The official specifications have no mention about WiFi or portable hotspot but this can only be seen as a negligence by the official side.

2. Battery life

The Jio phone comes with a 2000 maH battery, the standby time promised is of 15 days. The claim to the standby time is pretty achievable considering the limited set of features and functionalities supported by the device. We will have to wait for the first set of reviews for its battery life and the claim supporting it.

1. KaiOS

PS:
