The latest trend in social media after the infamous sayat.me (which technically was not an app but a web based anonymous opinion based network) is Sarahah.
What is sarahah?
Sarahah is labeled as an app that is meant for constructive criticism based on anonymous responses you get from your peers.It was developed by Zain-al-abidin Tawfiq.The anonymous feature has been quite a hit among its users as the app has already crossed over 2.5 million users in the middle east region.
How to get started with Sararah??
First, you have to download the Sarahah Messenger from Play Store or App Store. It is a free app for both Android and iOS. After downloading you need to make a Sarahah account.
After this you are allowed to anonymously send and receive messages within the app itself.
The received messages get store in the inbox within the app itself and gives the user freedom to reply,delete,add to favourite or even flap or report as inappropriate.
The reason behind Sararah
“There are several obstacles [to open discussion] such as differences in age or rank, so in some cases anonymity makes presenting criticism more comfortable.”
